Do you have people working for you?
If so I would like to hear about your experiences good and bad. I am in the process of handling some of the employment in our company. I would like to know some of the strategies you have used to seek new employees. We are using several forums as our main source of applicants.
What is your goal with your employees?
Do you own a Large or small business?
What are some of the good experiences you have had with the hiring process?
What are some of the ‘learning’ experience that have occurred?

Josh… I currently have 2 people working for me if you want to call it that. I don’t officially have a payroll as it’s on a more informal basis. They basically do a bunch of writing and updates for me and take a commission at the end of the month.
I’d love to someday move these people into an actual payroll and make it a little more official. Looking forward to some responses here.
As of now, I have about four people that work for me, writing reviews for my tech site. Honestly, the work environment isn’t exactly where I would like it to be, and I blame that on myself. There have been many instances where I am “too nice” and don’t tell people what I think, or even worse, fire people when I need to.
Its all a learning process and I’m sure it will get better with experience…
